Avon Announces New AIS East Assistant Principal
At their June 20 working session, the Avon Board of School Trustees approved Dr. Wyndham's recommendation to hire Ms. Orleta Holmes as Assistant Principal at Avon Intermediate School East.
Ms. Holmes has served as a Testing/Data Coordinator, Instructional Coach, and 5th-grade Teacher at an Indianapolis charter school. She also gained experience as a secondary Social Studies teacher in West Virginia before relocating to the Hoosier State.
Ms. Holmes earned her Bachelor's degree in Education from West Virginia State University and her Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Walden University. She recently completed her administrative coursework at Marian University.
